HP Pavilion G6t Series 15.6″ Budget Laptop


Hewlett-Packard has published details and pricing for the recently announced HP Pavilion g6 budget-class consumer notebooks on the official website for the Middle East market.
The 15.6-inch Pavilion g6 (g6-1000) will ship with the select 2nd Generation Intel Core i3 and i5 “Sandy Bridge” processors, as well as with the previous Core i3 and i5 “Nehalem” and Pentium CPUs. The laptops come with either Intel HD integrated graphics or the AMD Radeon 6470M dedicated GPU, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB hard drive, and a DVD burner.
Resolution of its LED-backlight display is 1366-by-768 pixels.
The g6 has a built-in web camera with microphone, Altec Lansing stereo speakers, 802.11n wireless, optional Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, HDMI and VGA outputs, three USB 2.0 ports, and a multi-in-one media card reader.
The case has a high-gloss finish with Butter Gold, Charcoal Grey, Luminous Rose, Sonoma Red, and Sweet Purple color choices.
HP’s Pavilion g6 runs Windows 7.
The models listed on HP ME start at US $525. The laptop is expected to hit the US market on March 13th for a base price of $449.
